3 Head out into the Desert

off roading in the Dubai Desert

You don't have to go very far to get to some of the UAE's undulating dune desert landscapes from Dubai's skyline of skyscrapers along the shore.

Both the orange-hued dune of Maleha (actually there in Emirate of Sharjah) and the dune fields & desert of such Dubai Desert Conservancy Reserve are reachable by day trip from the city.
Sandboarding, camel rides, 4WD safaris, traditional Arabian falconry performances, and desert dinners beneath the stars are just a few of the things that can be included in desert adventure excursions. Additionally, there are choices for spending the night camping outside.

A short vacation to Dubai can easily fit the normal tour itinerary, which takes visitors on a taste of desert life and lasts about six hours door to door with such a mid-afternoon departing from of the city.
A camel rides, sandboarding instruction, a BBQ at sunset, and a ballroom dancing performance are all included in the Dubai Desert 4 * 4 Safari, a half-day desert excursion.

Choose one of the businesses that run inside the Desert Conservation Reserve for a less hurried tour experience. Trips there can include animal drives to see the reserve's free-roaming groups of gazelles or, when you're lucky, Arabian oryx.

4 Old Dubai History in Al fahidi Quarter

Old Dubai (Bastakia)

The affluent Persian merchants who were drawn to Dubai by the tax-free trade and accessibility to Dubai Creek developed the Al Fahidi Quarter, also known as the Bastakia district, in the late nineteenth century. These merchants mostly traded in textiles and pearls.

Al Fahidi is located in the eastern part of Dubai along creek, and the houses here, many of which have walls top with wind towers, have been preserved exceptionally well.

The dwellings in this area were equipped with wind-towers, which served as an early kind of air conditioning by funnelling wind down into the homes. This architectural feature, which is typical of Iranian seaside homes, was probably brought to the Gulf by Persian traders.

The small roads, which are lined with distinctive Arabian architecture, strongly recall a bygone, more slower era in Dubai's history.

Both the Majlis Gallery, which has a collection of traditional Arab pottery and furniture housed in a wind tower, and the Al Serkal Cultural Foundation, which has a store, a café, and changing art exhibitions, are located inside the neighbourhood

5 Mall  of  Emirates

Mall  of  Emirates

One of the most well-known malls in the city is Mall of the Emirates, which also houses the magnificent (and fantastical) Ski Dubai complex.

With chairlifts, a penguin habitat, and a constant temperature near -4 degrees Celsius, the indoor skydiving slope is fully equipped.

Additionally, there is a theatre complex but a family entertainment area with a variety of rides for both children and adults.

Both the shopping and dining possibilities are limitless, offering every imaginable type of international cuisine.

6 Dubai Frame (Snap Sunset pics)

One of Dubai's newest sights is this enormous 150-meter-high picture frame, which is situated directly between the city's contemporary expansion and its ancient communities grouped around the creek.

Before ascending to the Sky Deck, where incredible vistas of both the old and modern Dubai may be captured on the observation platforms, a succession of galleries takes you through city's history and explores Emirati heritage.

Visit the Future Dubai gallery after that to see how the city may seem in the far future.

Address: Sheikh bin Zayed Road, Zabeel Park

7 Kite Beach &   Umm Suqeim Beach

Kite Beach

The northern part of Um Suqeim Beach seems to be Dubai's prime kitesurfing location because of the waves and strong wind there.

Numerous water sports businesses can be found on the beach, where they rent out equipment and give training in kitesurfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking.

With lots of room for sunbathers wishing to enjoy a relaxing day and swim and soak the rays on the sand, great amenities, and a variety of food options, this lengthy stretch of yellow-sand beachfront spreads south down the coast (become Umm Suqeim Beach). From of the southern beach, you can see the Burj al  Arab quite well.

Just a 3 hop from the beach, it's definitely worth it to see at Majlis Ghorfat at Um al Sheef when in the Jumeirah region. This vacation home, constructed in 1955, belonged to the dead Sheikh Rashid bn Saeed al-Maktoum.

You may get a greater sense of the luxury life of Dubai's rulers by visiting the mansion, which is constructed of gypsum & coral-block and has been rebuilt while retaining much of its magnificent original décor.

A replica of an amazing Arab irrigation system can be found in the Majlis Gardens, along with several date trees that provide shade.

Location: Dubai, Jumeirah Road, Jumeirah

8 Explore Dubai Creek

Explor Dubai creek
Deira and Bur Dubai are located north and south of Dubai Creek, which divides the area into two settlements.

The city's expansion has been influenced by the creek, which first drew people for its excellent fishing and pearl diving.

Small settlements appeared alongside the stream as early as 4000 years, but the modern era didn't start until the Bani Yas family moved into the region in the 1830s.

You may take in city views as from water at the creek by either taking a ride on one of the dhows which have been repaired and converted into tourist cruise ships or by riding an abra (a little wooden ferry) between both the ferry stops just on creek's Bur Dubai & Deira banks.

The waterfront has really been revitalised as the Al Seef area here on Bur Dubai side of the canal, right next to the Bastakia neighbourhood.

It features a riverfront promenade backed to traditional coral-block & limestone structures, a float market, and stores offering handmade goods
. With beautiful views of the lake, it's a terrific location for a stroll.

The Dhow Wharfage is located farther southeast along the stream on the Deira bank, north of Al-Maktoum Bridge. Small traders from all across the Gulf still utilise it as they navigate their dhows towards Iran, Kuwait, Oman, India, so all the way down to the horn of Africa.

It's fascinating to roam about and see goods being loaded & unloaded onto and off of the dhows in this little vestige of Dubai's former commerce.

The recently constructed Dubai Creek Harbor has a beachfront marina walkway and gives spectacular views of the city skyline near the southeast end of Dubai Creek, right before the creek meets with Dubai Canal.

9 skydive over Dubai

Skydive  in Dubai
Tandem skydiving over Dubai form Skydive Dubai's Palms Drop Zone will provide you the city's greatest sightseeing rush while you're there.

All the way back down the 3,900-meter drop, there are aerial views of both the city's skyscraper shoreline, Dubai Marina, or the manmade islands of Palm Jumeirah.

The entire experience lasts around 90 minutes & consists of the flight, a skydiving instructor to whom you will be attached, and a camera operator who will capture images of you while you are in the air.

Skydive Dubai also offers a different tandem skydiving experience there in desert, around 35 kilometres outside of the city, if you like the view of the desert dune landscape.

Due to the limited availability and strong demand for the experience, skydiving to Dubai is really an activity that you should schedule as long in advance as you can.
